1.) Eyelid correction

Applications

  • Sagging of upper eyelids
  • Reduced visual field

Treatment goals

  • Removal of excess skin
  • Skin tightening and lifting of the upper eyelids

Treatment

  • Description: The surgical eyelid correction is the gold standard of heavy sagging upper eyelids. Due to the lax skin the visual field can be compromised and the facial expression seems tired. During the lid correction the excessive skin and if necessary a bit of fatty tissue is removed in local anesthesia in an outpatient surgery. The healing of the eyelid proceeds rapidly, so that suture removal takes place after one week. Afterwards the application of sun/UV-protection (SPF 50+) and scar gel with silicon for 3 month is recommended.
  • Type: Surgical intervention
  • Duration per session: 60 minutes
  • Repetitions: non

Price per session

  • from € 1800

2.) Earlobe correction

Applications

  • Pierced and torn ear holes
  • Stretched ear holes
  • Uneven earlobes

Treatment goals

  • Restoration of a nicely shaped earlobe

Treatment

  • Description: In an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia, the original torn or stretched ear hole of the ear hole is removed and the remaining tissue is surgically adapted to create a new earlobe. Techniques such as wedge excisions, tangential or horizontal incisions, Z-plasties, or complex earlobe reconstructions are used for this purpose. Sutures are usually removed after 10 days. If the original ear hole is not retained, a new ear hole can be punched after 3 months
In addition, volume loss in the earlobe area can also be filled with hyaluronic acid injections.
  • Type: Surgical intervention
  • Duration per session: 30 - 60 minutes each side
  • Repetitions: non

Price per session

  • One-sided: from € 400

3.) Scar correction

Applications

  • Unpleasant scars
  • Post surgical scars
  • Traumatic scars

Treatment goals

  • Scar correction
  • Reduction of visibility of the scar

Treatment

  • Description: The surgical scar treatment is mainly used for unpleasant, flat and dehiszent scars. Besides the removal of the old scar, due to different surgical techniques like the z-plasty the direction of the tension gets changed and straight lines get broken. The surgical scar correction also is a surgery and again leaves a scar which is usually finer and less visible. After the surgical scar correction attention is to be payed to apply sun/UV-protection (SPF 50+) for 4-6 weeks and plasters or scar geld with silicone for 3 month.
  • Type: Surgical intervention
  • Duration per session: 30-45 minutes

  • Milia
  • Dermatofibromas
  • Cysts

Treatment goals

  • (Partial) removal of the skin lesion

Treatment

  • Description: Disturbing protruding and pedunculated skin lesions such as age spots, dermal nevi, fibromas, and milia are removed at skin level using a scalpel, scissors, or curette after applying a local anesthetic cream or injection, and hemostasis is applied. A crust then forms, which is treated with wound care ointments and protected from sun exposure for 4-6 weeks.
Deeper skin lesions such as dermatofibromas, cysts, and xanthelasmas are completely removed by (punch) excision, followed by surgical closure of the wound with sutures.
  • Type: Surgical intervention
  • Duration per session: Depending on the type and number of skin lesions to be removed, 20 - 45 minutes
